About Entre Deux Dates

Entre Deux Dates is a free website for date calculations: days between two dates, working days, exact age, week numbers and countdowns.

The website is run independently by VOTRE NOM. Its name is French for “between two dates”. Counting days seems simple until a 30-day month, a leap year or a bank holiday gets in the way. This website gives accurate, explained results that are easy to check.

How the calculations work

• All dates follow the Gregorian calendar and its leap year rule.
• The English version deducts the bank holidays of England and Wales, including substitute days and one-off bank holidays of recent years.
• The date of Easter, which determines Good Friday and Easter Monday, is calculated with the Meeus algorithm.
• Week numbers follow the ISO 8601 standard.
• Each page explains its method with a worked example, so you can check the result yourself.

All calculations run in your browser. The dates you enter never leave your device.

Limitations

Results are provided for information only. For legal, contractual or administrative deadlines, the rules that set the deadline apply (when it starts, what happens at weekends, regional bank holidays). Check them when it matters.
